LABOR DAY WEEKEND
@ Sturgeon Point Marina
Derby, NY
DATE/TIME TBD.
Set sail for chaos, camp, and community—it’s time to race cardboard boats for a cause!
Join us on the shores of Lake Erie for the 1st Annual Cardboard Regatta, a queer-powered benefit event like no other. Whether you’re racing solo or with a co-captain, you’ll build your boat from nothing but cardboard and duct tape, then paddle for glory—or dramatic disaster—in the name of mutual aid.
This splashy, sun-soaked beach party raises funds for The Trans Continental Pipeline (TCP), a grassroots org helping 2SLGBTQIA+ folks escape unsafe states and relocate to states where they are welcome, like Colorado and New York. Every boat launched helps someone find safety.

The Trans Continental Pipeline (TCP) is a grassroots mutual aid network turned 501c3 nonprofit based in Denver, CO. We provide resources to help 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals move from unsafe situations and political climates to the safe states across the U.S., including NY and CO!
